Fayetteville Future Black History Makers: Meet Analice Elliott

Analice Elliott, 13, daughter of Ana M. Elliott and Edward C. Elliott, is in eighth grade at Mac Williams Middle School.

She was nominated as a Fayetteville Observer Future Black History Maker because, “She is a pillar within her community and school where she demonstrates community service, academic excellence, acceptance of all, innovation, and exceptional leadership while adding to a positive environment at school and within her community,” writes nominator Annette Correale, a school counselor at Mac Williams on behalf of the school administration, faculty and staff. “Outside of school, Analice Elliott has served as an Ambassador for Juvenile Diabetes for Sweet Kids at Cape Fear Hospital since 2020. In January of 2024, Analice began serving as Secretary of the Leo’s Club in Fayetteville, the Lion’s Club for Youth. She began her middle school years as a volleyball team member in the 2022 summer and fall seasons for Cumberland County Recreation Center in Eastover, North Carolina. At MWMS Analice embarked on a new interest in performance arts with the Big Mac Band and maintained academic excellence the entire year. … We have watched Analice Elliott grow personally these past years and believe her future as a desired architect will be history making as she problem-solves for the people in her community. In light of Analice’s attributes of community service, academic excellence, acceptance of all, innovation, and exceptional leadership, the administration, faculty, and staff at MWMS takes extreme pleasure and pride in nominating Analice Elliott for a spotlight as a Future Black History Maker at CCS.”
